This was our very first time experiencing the arrival of a new year in Merida. Let me tell ya' it was thrilling. Fireworks galore in every direction. We spun like pinwheels on our rooftop patio trying to take in each explosion. It sounded like war but looked like a million birthday candles igniting the sky with joy. We loved it. Even our cats came out to check out the excitement. Surprisingly, they seemed to enjoy the melee as much as we did.
Of course, today I am filled with plans for this year. 2022 will be my year. It will be yours too. I claim it for you! So what are some of your goals for this year?
